DESIRE TO TOUCH JESUS
“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God”. Psalms:42:1.
The Bible gave an account of a crowd following Jesus and His disciples and Jesus suddenly turned round and asked, “who touched me?” Peter said what do you mean who touched you.
There is a crowd here and you asked who touched me? But what Jesus was saying in essence is that there are touches but there is a touch. Some came to touch and feel the fabrics of His cloth. Some came and touched out of curiosity and went the same way they came. Some others touched by mistake. But there was a woman who came and touched for a specific purpose, because she believed Jesus was the Man sent for her healing.
According to the Bible this woman had been suffering from an issue of blood for about twelve years. She spent all her living, but to no avail. But when she heard that the Man sent by God was in her neighbourhood, she said to herself all I need to do is to touch Him and I will leave here totally healed. She acted out her decision. And because she believed He was the Man sent by God to her. She was healed instantly.
Beloved, enough of coming to church and playing church. You must make up your mind never to come to church and do business as usual. Make up your mind that you will touch Jesus through His word. If there is power in the word, let the word produce results. Let there be deliverance. Let the shackles be broken. By the mandate of heaven I speak to everything that is contradicting your destiny to stop! In Jesus Christ Name! Amen!
The first step is to identify the Man sent by God to you and then once you identify him or her, follow the person as he or she follows Jesus.
Don’t let your desire slip by you, this might be all you need, desire to touch Jesus and you will see things turning around for your good.
